Kim Jong Un Visits Newly-built Youth Movement Museum

Pyongyang, January 20 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, supreme leader of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, gave a field guidance to the newly-built Youth Movement Museum. He, together with officials, paid a tribute to the full-length statues of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il among youths and children in the general hall of the museum. Then he went round show-rooms, a room for revolutionary historic mementoes and other places of the museum. What is the core in the history of the great leaders' guidance over the youth movement is that they had always put forward the young people as the heroes of the times with deep trust in them, he said, noting that under their wise guidance and loving care the Korean youths could cover the glorious road, glorifying the annals of the revolution with heroic feats and shining victories. Thanks to the wise leadership and undying feats of the great leaders who set a brilliant example of the youth movement, foreseeing the protracted nature of the revolution and regarding the youth issue as the important strategic issue decisive of rise and fall of the country and as the most important national priority, our Party could perfectly settle the youth issue, inconceivable in any age and any other country, and build the one and only youth power in the world, he said, adding: This is our great pride. The museum comprehensively deals with the history of the Kim Il Sung-Kim Jong Il youth movement, he said, stressing the need to build up the ranks of lecturers and steadily improve their ability and operate the museum under a meticulous plan in order to conduct an effective education through it. He gave an instruction on the completion of the Youth Movement Museum, expressing conviction that its officials and lecturers would creditably discharge their honorable duty. -0-
