Larijani: Islamic States Should Cooperate Against Terrorism

Tehran, Feb 8, IRNA – Majlis (parliament) Speaker Ali Larijani, referring to problems of the Islamic world, especially growth of terrorism in the region, called for cooperation of all Islamic states to confront with the takfiri terrorists. According to Majlis website, Ali Larijani in a meeting with president of Tunisian National Constituent Assembly Mustafa bin Jafar, said approval of the Constitution with participation of all political factions in the country was a great move. He expressed pleasure with attending the ceremony. He also called for increasing economic ties between the two countries and invited Mustafa bin Jaafar to attend the Islamic parliaments meeting in Tehran. Bin Jafar, for his part, expounded on process of approving the Constitution and said that it was a step forward for law sovereignty and a better future for Tunisian nation. He also appreciated Iranian parliamentary delegation visit to Tunisia and attending the ceremony./end
