Lubna, Tatarstan President explore prospects of joint industrial and economic partnership

Abu Dhabi, Feb 18, 2013 (WAM) - Sheikha Lubna Bint Khalid Al Qasimi, Minister of Foreign Trade, discussed with the visiting President of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, ways of expanding trade and investment exchange and further joint partnership especially in manufacturing industries, agriculture and Halal foods. Prospects of joint investment in petrochemicals and auto industries were also examined. Sheikh Lubna noted to the sincere desire of UAE investors to have a foothold in Tatarstan given its huge natural resources and its strategic geographic position between Asia and Europe. For his part, President Minnikhanov expressed his country's keenness to further develop trade and investment relations with the UAE as a bright development model. - Emirates News Agency, WAM
