Minister: No Victory For Zionist Regime Any Longer

Tehran, Sept 1, IRNA – Iranˈs Defense Minister Brigadier General Hossein Dehghan said there is no longer any victory in store for the Zionist regime. He stressed that the usurper regime has no power to even to decide to trigger a new war in the future. He believed the language of threat that the Zionist regime is using is a just a political bluff. Referring to the brilliant victory of Gaza people in the 51-day war, the minister reiterated that humiliating defeat of the Zionist regime actually meant the failure of the US policies in the region. He believed it was high time for Americans to come to terms with the realities in the region and try to save themselves from the quagmire created by the Zionists by stopping further expansionist and interventionist policies. The general also noted that the victory of Gazans in the war against the Zionist regime came despite indifference of international organizations towards the genocide carried out by Zionist army in the enclave. He further stressed that any new adventurist plot by the Zionist regime in the region is certainly doomed to failure and will mark the end of the disgraceful life of Zionist regime./end
