Mongolian prizes go to Czech people
Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Some members of the Society of Mongolian Friends in the Czech Republic have been awarded Mongolia's prizes and titles for their contributions to the Mongolia-Czech ties on occasion of the 65th anniversary of the bilateral diplomatic relations and the society’s 25th anniversary.
The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the Czech Republic D.Zumberellham granted the prizes on Monday in the Embassy of Mongolia. The highest prize of the Mongolian Academy of Sciences--the Order of Khubilai Khaan--went to Dr Jiri Sima, a founder of both Society of Mongolian Friends and the Small Asian Museum in the Czech Republic. The title of Foremost Miner was given to Mojmir Krauter who led a Mongolia-Czech geological expedition for exploring the Erdenet deposit; certificates of Honor of the Ministry of Food and Agriculture--to Dr Jan Kolarz and Jan Minarz for their contribution to our veterinary services.
During the ceremony, Mr Zumberellham underlined that the Society of Mongolian Friends has been propagandizing Mongolia and cooperating with Mongolia's Embassy in social and scientific spheres. The society’s members are connected to Mongolia, they have significantly contributed to great construction and development of Mongolia.
