NAM Secretariat Denies Remarks Attributed To Mashaee

Tehran, March 3, IRNA – Secretariat of Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) in Tehran denied remarks attributed to Head of NAM Secretariat Esfandiar Rahim Mashaee. Last week, certain websites attributed remarks to Mashaee on separation of religion and politics and efforts to change Constitutional Law. The office noted that efforts by certain media and politicians to defame persons related to the government is far from political and media virtue. It said that certain media are accusing the government to plan the victory in the upcoming presidential election, while the government is trying hard to serve nation and decrease pressures from the enemyˈs imposed sanctions and economic confusions./end
