Pakistani Religious Leader Highlights Importance Of Unity Of Muslims

Islamabad, Jan 27, IRNA – Pakistani religious leader on Saturday stressed the need for unity among Muslim Ummah to frustrate the designs of imperialist forces against Muslim world. Talking to IRNA, central vice chief of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F) Maulana Gul Naseeb Khan said that rulers of some Muslim countries have become tools in the hands of western powers and damaging the interests of Ummah. “These despotic rulers are forwarding the western agenda and not paying any heed to the problems of their own people,” said the religious leader. Former Senator said that unity of Ummah is need of hour as the western world is trying all out efforts to weaken Muslim world by occupying their resources. “Today Muslims are being killed in the world,” he said. He demanded that the genocide of Muslims must come to an end. The JUI-F leader expressing his views said that Muslims must shun their differences and unite against a common enemy. Maulana Gul Naseeb Khan viewed that west is trying to sow the seed of hatred among Ummah by lighting the fire of sectarianism. He stressed the need to promote unity and harmony among different sects of Muslims. The politician said that success of Ummah lies in its unity. “We have to stand united against western invasion on our Islamic culture”, he opined. Former Senator maintained that the western efforts against Muslim world are deplorable. He said that Ulema from all schools of though stress the importance of unity of Muslims. Former Senator said that founder of Islamic Revolution Imam Khomeini played an important role to bring unity among Ummah. Religious leader went on to say that the day of 12th Rabi-ul-Awwal should be celebrated by all Muslims but the life and teachings of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) should be followed in true spirit to achieve prosperity of Muslim world./end
