BANGKOK, Oct 5 (TNA) -- Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha visited the Hua Lamphong train station and was briefed on the electric railway network of the greater Bangkok covering 13 lines. He took a subway train together with general commuters on the Blue Line from the Silom Station to Hua Lamphong. There transport officials told him that 13 electric railways of the greater Bangkok would be connected to passenger bus and boat services at 64 locations. The prime minister suggested that authorities well plan routes for buses serving commuters and tourists at train stations. From the Hua Lamphong train station Gen Prayut boarded a passenger boat to the Thewaraj Kunchorn pier to inspect the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration's railway-bus-boat connection project. During the trip the prime minister also joined a painting activity with students and inspected the collection of donated books at the Hua Lamphong subway station. (TNA)
