Premier legs technical college and secondary school in Gobisumber

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Prime Minister Ch.Saikhanbileg visited educational institutions in Gobisumber aimag last week. Firstly, he legged the Technical College of Mining. It aims to become a leading and internationally-standard school on mining engineering and technicians. This college has some 800 students who are majoring in 30 professions. The college also wants to build a testing-ground for vocational training on a 50-hectar area near the Shivee-Ovoo coal mine, the college’s director said and asked the Premier to give governmental support for this work. After this, Mr Saikhanbileg legged the 1st secondary school in Gobisumber’s center. After a full repair in 2013, it has started a program called “Smart school” for making all facilities electronic and smart. Activities, quality and adequacy of educational institutions have improved, and up-to-date techniques and technologies have been introduced in the educational sector in Gobisumber, so the aimag’s administration office has been selected as the education-friendly administration by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science.
