President addresses UN Climate Change Conference

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The President of Mongolia Mr Ts.Elbegdorj delivered a speech at the 2015 United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP 21 or CMP 11) which kicked off Monday in Paris. Mr Elbegdorj underlined that the world has faced two big challenges--combating terrorism and the global warming, and urged countries to make efforts and fulfill their promises to solve the urgent problems. he also introduced to the participants his country’s policy and goals on green development for reducing a rate of global warming and for stopping the climate change, and proposed minimizing greenhouse gas through, for example, raising money for setting up a green fund of climate, realizing proposals, imposing tax upon countries depending on their rate of greenhouse gas emission. Some 150 countries’ leaders have gathered to make a concurrence for saving the earth, he noted and hoped that all countries in the world will fulfill the pledges and affirm their responsibilities for the sake of inheriting safe environment to the next generations and well-being of humankind.
