President Calls for Expansion Of Ties With Guinea Bissau

Tehran, Sept 2, IRNA – President Ahmadinejad, referring to friendly and brotherly relations between Iran and Guinea Bissau, called for expansion of cooperation and all-out ties. According to the report of Presidential Office website, President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, in a meeting with President Raimundo Pereira here on Saturday evening, said that Iran is ready to develop its ties with Guinea Bissau in different fields, adding that development of relations and cooperation with the country is an unchangeable principle supported by Iranian officials and government. He also underlined necessity of forming joint economic commission between the two countries and considering capacities and fields of cooperation in this commission. President Pereira, by referring to successful meeting of NAM in Tehran, said he is confident that with Iran's chairmanship and management, the movement will witness effective progress. Referring to growing ties, Pereira called for promotion of cooperation level in different fields of agriculture, medicine, commerce and infra-structure affairs./end
