President Deplores Current Unjust World Order

Cotonou, April 16, IRNA – President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Monday deplored the current unjust governing system of the international community. President Ahmadinejad made the remarks in Cotonou, the economic capital of Benin. On his second day of his stay in the African country, he addressed the university professors and university students. Arrogant powers have monopolized investments and the global assets of the World Bank, wielding influence on the international community to dictate their wishes. The unipolar economic system systematically absorbs wealth of the entire world nations, he said. The world people suffered a lot during slavery period, many lost their families and many forced to serve arrogant powers, he said. President Ahmadinejad said that the black era was ended thanks to the long term resistance of people but the new era of colonialism took shape afterwards. Those who found access to marine equipment managed to loot wealth of world nations, could conquer Asian, African as well as Latin American continents, he said. The arrogant powers targeted the world nations with resort to bullying and weapons and tried to trample upon their rights which led to protests and uprising and the people attained their independence one after another. Arrogant powers pursue their old-age policies with resort to new methods and tricks, he said. The president made it clear that the current governing system of the international community is under rein of the same colonial powers. Any independent and free nation endeavoring to attain progress and success will be faced with their plots and conspiracies, he said. They employ political and economic levers to dissuade nations from their path of success, he said. They put pressure on world nations under various excuses ignoring the nuclear rights enshrined by Non-Proliferation Treaty and the international law, he said. President Ahmadinejad recalled the eight-year Iraq-imposed war on Iran (1980-1988) and said that they encouraged Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein to invade Iran and said that they continued their conspiracy through waging devastating war in Iraq and Afghanistan after 9/11. Since 1973 they have injected over dlrs 32,000 billion without reserve to the global economy which is the root cause of global inflation, he said. Arrogant powers seek to wage a new economic war in East of Asia, he said./end
