President Ilham Aliyev attended the opening of a new building of the headquarters in the military town of Shamkir military formation

Shamkir, November 15, AzerTAc President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has attended the opening of a new building of the headquarters in the military town of Shamkir military formation Defence Minister Zakir Hasanov reported to Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev. The head of state reviewed conditions created in the new headquarters. There are 76 rooms in the three-storey building. There are tactical classes, drawing and computer rooms, and communication center here. Then President and Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev held a meeting. Defence Minister Zakir Hasanov highlighted the situation along Azerbaijani-Armenian border and the line of contact. President Ilham Aliyev condemned a recent provocation of the Armenian armed forces when they violated the line of contact. The head of state highly appreciated the Azerbaijani armed forces` preventing this provocation. President Ilham Aliyev gave relevant instructions in connection with the situation. The head of state then reviewed summer and winter uniforms of servicemen. A five-storey 50-apartment building for servicemen was constructed here.
