Putin expects Russia, Jordan to continue boosting cooperation, mutual trust

MOSCOW, February 15. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin expects Moscow and Amman to continue boosting cooperation and mutual trust. "There is every reason to expect that we will continue to boost mutual trust and cooperation," he said at a meeting with King Abdullah II of Jordan. Putin added that he planned to discuss bilateral relations and the situation in the region with the Jordanian monarch. The Russian president pointed out that the year 2018 marked the 55th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries. He also said that he had last met with the king a year ago. According to Putin, the two countries have constant contacts. "Clearly, personal meetings are always important," Putin added. Read more
