Rodong Sinmun Lays Bare Japan's Moral Vulgarity and Shamelessness

Pyongyang, January 21 (KCNA) -- Shortly ago, Japanese Foreign Minister Kishida said it was his understanding that the statue of a girl depicting the victim of the sexual slavery erected in Seoul would be properly moved according to the deal clinched with south Korea on the issue of the sexual slavery. Commenting on this, Rodong Sinmun Thursday says that what he uttered is little short of the open declaration of the Japanese government's stance that there is nothing for Japan to own responsibility or settle as regards the sexual slavery. The commentary goes on: The issue of the sexual slavery for the Imperial Japanese Army is not the issue to be solved by pulling down the symbol of the sexual slavery while bamboozling half-witted party with a petty amount of money. There are not a few countries in the world which committed crimes intentionally or against their will. But the world does not know such country as Japan which goes so morally mean and shameful. No matter what gimmick Japan may employ to write off its history, it is bound to remain immutable truth. Japan's persistent despicable behavior to hide the truth of history and evade its responsibility would only add to its crimes. The world will certainly force Japan to pay for its past crimes. -0-
