Russia, North Korea sign number of bilateral documents

MOSCOW, April 14. /TASS/. Russia and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea signed a number of bilateral agreements in Moscow on Tuesday. Among them are the plan for the Russian-North Korean Friendship Year, the plan of intergovernmental cooperation in the culture in science spheres for 2015-2016, an agreement on international automobile communication and a memorandum on cooperation between the central banks of the two countries. The agreements were signed at the opening ceremony of the Russian-North Korean Friendship Year. Russian Deputy Prime Minister Yuri Trutnev, presidential envoy at the Far-Eastern Federal District, who attended the ceremony said that Russia was making serious preparations for the 7th meeting of the bilateral intergovernmental commission that will take place in Pyongyang on April 27. Trutnev said the two countries "have a serious potential for cooperation."
