S. Leader: Nation To Prove Firm Will By Massive Turnout At Election

Tehran, Feb 29, IRNA – Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei said the Iranian nation will demonstrate its firm will to fight enemies by massive participation in the upcoming parliamentary elections. The Supreme Leader made the remark here Wednesday morning while receiving a large number of people from different walks of life and family members of martyrs. Ayatollah Khamenei further stressed great importance of people’s massive turnout in the 9th parliamentary elections. The Supreme Leader further said that the nation will strike a blow to the bullying powers even more severe than the one demonstrated during rallies celebrating the victory anniversary of the Islamic Revolution to let the enemies understand that they could do nothing against the nation. The Leader also said that the Friday elections are more sensitive compared to the previous ones./end
