Syrian national council member says public protests spread to whole Syria

ISTANBUL (A.A) - January 30, 2012 - Mahmud Osman, a member of the Syrian National Council, has said that the public protests spread across the country. The protests, held by conscious people, spread to all regions of Syria, added Osman who spoke to AA on Monday. Noting that people seemed to believe in revolution even in the cities supporting al-Assad, Osman said that protests were continuing within a certain method and common sense. There is a crime against humanity committed in Syria, said Osman, adding that 6,600 people had been massacred by al-Assad so far. Osman said that al-Assad regime would expire within five months. Noting that currently a civil disobedience has started in Syria, Osman said that people did not pay their electricity and water bills, and they stopped or slowed down working.
