Tehran To Hold Ceremony To Commemorate Sheikh Shehata Martyrdom

Tehran, July 1, IRNA – Tehran will host a ceremony to commemorate martyrdom of prominent Shia cleric Sheikh Hassan Shehata and four of his devotees by members of the Takfiri group in Egypt on July 2. The ceremony is to be held at a mosque downtown Tehran through cooperation of Ahlul Bayt World Assembly and World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought. A number of prominent Ulema, elites, national figures and representatives of the Islamic states as well as people from different social strata will attend the ceremony which is to condemn savage brutalities of Tafiri group. The Takfiri and terrorist groups have launched various operations against Shiites in Pakistan, Bahrain, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Syria and recently in Egypt./end
