Tehran NAM Meet Provides Chance To Pay Due Attention To Palestine - Official

Shahr-e Kord, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Prov, Sept 10, IRNA - Representative of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement in Iran Nasser Abu Sharif said here Monday that the Tehran NAM meeting created an opportunity for witnessing more convergence among the member states on the issue of Palestine. Exclusively talking to IRNA in this southwestern Iranian province, he said the 16th Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) Summit held in the Iranian capital on August 26-31 stressed the need to fulfill the Palestinians' rights. He added that discussing the issue of Palestine in the Tehran NAM meeting was a cause to attract the world nations' attention to this major issue. Undoubtedly, he said, the negotiations to be held among the NAM member states in the future would benefit Palestinian people. He reiterated that all Palestinian groups share identical views regarding their resistance against the Zionist regime./end
