Thai New Ambassador Submits Copy Of Credentials To FM

Tehran, May 2, IRNA – Thailand new Ambassador to Tehran Udomsak Sritangos submitted a copy of his credentials to Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi here on Tuesday. According to the report of Foreign Ministry Media Department, Salehi, by referring to history of relations and commonalities between the two countries, expressed hope that mutual ties would deepen and develop more and more especially in the sectors of economy, trade and tourism. Sritangos, for his part, conveyed greetings of Thai FM to his Iranian counterpart and said that he is going to do his utmost to develop bilateral ties in different fields. He also underlined necessity of holding talks and reciprocal visits between senior officials of the two countries in direction of developing and expanding relations./end
