Turkish deputy pm visits OIC head Ihsanoglu

JEDDAH (A.A) - January 1, 2012 - Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Ali Babacan paid a courtesy visit to Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu, the Secretary General of the Organization of the Islamic Cooperation (OIC), in Saudi Arabia on Wednesday. Babacan and Ihsanoglu discussed regional economic cooperation issues as well as increasing the trade volume among OIC member states. Ihsanoglu also briefed Babacan about the economic projects of OIC for 2012, and issues such as food safety and preferential trade agreement system.
