Turkish economy minister to visit Germany

ANKARA (A.A) - February 5, 2012 - Turkish Economy Minister Zafer Caglayan will travel to Germany this week. A statement by his ministry said on Sunday that Caglayan would attend a conference as well as hold talks with German Economics & Technology Minister Philipp Roesler and Consumer Protection & Agriculture Minister Ilse Aigner. Caglayan will also meet with representatives of German, French, Austrian and Czech companies, eager to invest in Turkey, during his visit to Germany. He will meet with Roesler on February 7 and Aigner on February 8. Germany is the most important trade partner of Turkey. Trade volume between the two countries reached 36.8 billion U.S. dollars in 2011.
