Turkish FM holds bilateral talks in Munich

MUNICH (A.A) - February 5, 2012 - Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu met with U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton within the scope of the 48th Munich Security Conference on Saturday. The meeting lasted for nearly 20 minutes. Davutoglu also held talks with Kosovo's President Atifete Jahjaga, Finnish Foreign Minister Erkki Sakari Tuomioja, Sweden's Foreign Minister Carl Bildt, Romanian Foreign Minister Cristian Diaconescu and Serbian Foreign Minister Vuk Jeremic. Jahjaga and Davutoglu discussed the latest situation in Balkans and Kosovo in their meeting. In Davutoglu-Tuomioja meeting; Turkey's EU bid, developments in Arab countries and the French denial law were discussed. Davutoglu and Bildt took up Turkey's EU accession, developments in Syria and nuclear program of Iran.
