Turkish FM speaks to Arab League's rotating head Qatar's premier on Syria

WASHINGTON (A.A) - February 13, 2012 - Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu on Sunday held a telephone meeting with Hamad bin Jassim bin Jaber bin Muhammad Al Thani, prime minister of Qatar which holds the rotating helm of Arab League. Davutoglu and Al Thani exchanged views over Arab League's meeting on Syria on Sunday and prospective steps to be taken regarding the crisis in Syria.          The Turkish FM, who pays a visit to Washington, also held separate phone talks with his Tunisian counterpart Rafik Abdessalem as the two foreign ministers discussed the crisis in Syria. Davutoglu had expressed Turkey's support to a prospective international conference on Syria, which is set to be held in Tunis.
