UAE Ambassador in Spain discusses boosting parliamentary relations

Madrid: Feb 13, 2013 (WAM) - Dr. Hessa Abdullah Ahmed Al Otaiba, UAE Ambassador to Spain discussed with Jorge Villarino the Director of international relations at the Congress of Deputies (Spanish Parliament) mechanisms of activating bilateral relations between the Federal National Council (FNC) and the Spanish Parliament as well as the possibility of establishing a UAE-Spanish Friendship committee. Villarino expressed his readiness for cooperation and coordination, extending an invitation from the president of Congress of Deputies Jesus Moreno for UAE envoy to visit the parliament. Al Otaiba accepted the invitation in a bid to strengthening bilateral relations between the two legislative bodies and in light of exchanging official visits as well as boosting parliamentary cooperation. - Emirates News Agency, WAM
