U.S. has expressed interest in dialogue with Iran: Iran`s FM

TEHRAN, Nov.2 (MNA) – Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi said the United States, in a letter full of contradictions, has expressed an interest in holding talks with the Islamic Republic. Salehi made the remarks during a joint press conference with Ghanaian Foreign Minister Muhammad Mumuni in Tehran on Tuesday in reply to a question about the letter recently received from U.S. officials. “We have received a letter from U.S. officials which was full of contradictions and unfounded claims, but on the other hand they have proposed to hold talks with Iran,” Salehi said, adding, “Iran has also sent a written reply to the letter.”
