VP: Expansion Of Ties With Regional States, Iran’s Top Priority

Tehran, Feb 29, IRNA - Vice President for International Affairs Ali Saeedlu said on Tuesday Iran’s top priority is to expand ties with regional countries. He made the remarks in a meeting with Armenian Energy Minister Armen Musisian. “Expansion of economic and trade cooperation in different fields with regional countries and transferring energy to neighboring states are Iran’s top priority,” Saeedlu said. Referring to Tehran-Yerevan historical ties, he said Iran-Armenia friendly relations date back to a long ago, therefore Iran is ready to upgrade its political and economic ties with this friendly country to its highest level. The vice president also expressed Iran’s readiness to transfer Iran’s gas and oil products to Armenia./end
