VP Off To Islamabad For Talks With Pakistani Officials

Tehran, Feb 6, IRNA – Vice-President for International Affaires Ali Saeedlou left here for Islamabad on Sunday heading an economic-commercial delegation. Saeedlou during his two-day stay in Pakistan will consult with Pakistani officials on expansion of economic relations between Tehran and Islamabad. He would arrange the preliminaries for upcoming visit of Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to Pakistan to take part in the second Iran-Pakistan-Afghanistan trilateral Summit. On of the important issues to be discussed during Saeedlu’s meetings with Pakistani officials would be a gas deal between Iran and Pakistan as well as various economic and commercial agreements already reached between the two sides including one on elimination of trade barriers./end
