Wartime Braveries, Iran's Deterrent Power Against Enemies

Tehran, Oct 2, IRNA – Bravery of Iranians during the eight-year Iraqi imposed war (1980-88) has insured the country's security and authority as a deterrent shield against enemies, Secretary of the Expediency Council Mohsen Rezaee said Monday. Addressing a local meeting to mark braveries of the Iranian soldiers during the eight years of Iraqi imposed war against Iran, Rezaee said the courage shown by Iranians during the period guaranteed the country against any threats so that no enemy has ever dared attack Iran any longer. The large number of achievements of Iran's defense industry has also stopped the enemies from carrying out their threats against the Iranian nation, said the official. He added that Iran's wartime experiences have guaranteed the country's security and integrity./end
