Yerevan Mulls Expanding Ties With Tehran: Armenian Official

Orumieh, West Azarbaijan prov, Oct 8, IRNA – Armenia’s Deputy Prime Minister Armen Gevorgyan said on Tuesday the country attaches great importance to expansion of ties with the Islamic Republic of Iran. Gevorgyan made the remarks in a meeting with visiting West Azarbaijan governor general Vahid Jalalzadeh in the Armenian capital, Yerevan. He reiterated that promotion of ties with Iran is among priorities of his country. Expressing satisfaction with the visit to Armenia of the Iranian delegation, he hoped that the visit would bear fruitful results.
