Qatar's Beach Volleyball Team Qualify for Forequarter-Finals of Asian Men's Handball Championship

Beijing, June 24 (QNA) - Qatar's beach volleyball team (Qatar 1) consisting of the duo Cherif Younousse and Ahmed Tijan qualified for the quarter-finals of Asian Men's Handball Championship that kicked off in China Friday and will run through Jun. 26.
Qatar's team squared off the duo of (Kazakhstan 2) on Saturday in the round of 16 after defeating the duo of (Japan 2) in the third game within Group B competitions and subsequently the team ascended to the round of 16.
Qatar is participating in the tournament with team (Qatar 1) the duo Cherif Younousse and and Ahmed Tijan and team (Qatar 2) consisting of the duo Abdullah Nasim and Mohamed Ehab.
A total 32 teams participating in the tournament, representing China, Australia, Thailand, Japan, New Zealand, Kazakhstan, India, Iran, Philippines, and Hong Kong in addition to Qatar. (QNA)
