SCH Chairman inaugurates First Bahraini Psychiatry Conference

Manama, Oct. 12 (BNA): Lieutenant General Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Supreme Council of Health (SCH), inaugurated the First Bahrain Psychiatry Conference.

Dr. Jalila bint Sayed Jawad Hassan, Health Minister, Shaikh Hisham bin Abdulaziz Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Governmental Hospitals, and Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Al Ansari, CEO of Government Hospitals, were present.

He highlighted that organising this event embodied the Kingdom’s distinguished position in hosting leading medical conferences to exchange expertise.

Twenty eight speakers from the GCC and Egypt participated in the conference, and over 30 research papers on psychiatry were presented.
