South Hamgyong Province Directs Efforts to Immediate Farming

Pyongyang, April 1 (KCNA) -- South Hamgyong Province of the DPRK concentrates all efforts on immediate farming for this year.

The province has dynamically conducted organizational and political work to arouse the masses to implementing the resolutions of the Seventh Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, while giving priority to the implementation of the farming processes.

Officials of the agricultural guidance organs are intensifying the organizational work and the technical guidance to increase the area where advanced farming methods, whose advantages have been proved in farming practice, are to be applied.

Cities and counties are channeling efforts into improving the fertility of soil and raising the operation rate of farm machines while giving priority to timeliness and quality of farming and properly distributing manpower for each process and conducting effective control and review to thoroughly carry out daily plans. -0-
