South Hwanghae Province Makes Thorough Preparations for Wheat and Barley Harvest

Pyongyang, June 10 (KCNA) -- South Hwanghae Province of the DPRK makes preparations for finishing the harvesting of wheat and barley at the right time in hearty response to the resolutions of the Seventh Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea.

Officials of the provincial rural economy committee and the city and county agricultural management committees are directing efforts to raising the utilization rate of farm machines while giving guidance to the farms to ensure the stable growth of wheat and barley.

They urged all farmers to finish their harvest preparations before the rainy season.

All the officials and farmers in the province are concentrating their efforts on the preparations for harvesting, transportation and threshing of wheat and barley. -0-
