Al Arabi Defeats Al Rayyan to Raise Hopes to Qualify for Amir Cup Table Tennis Semi-Finals

Doha, October 08 (QNA) - Al Arabi raised hopes of a semifinal berth after they defeated Al Rayyan 3-2 in the sixth round of 2019-20 Amir Cup on Wednesday. Al Arabi, third on the table with five points, need to beat Al Wakrah in the last round on Thursday to qualify for the last four stage. Al Rayyan is second and six points behind leaders Al Sadd (8 points), who have already qualified for the semifinals from Group B. A victory for Al Wakrah meant that they will be on six points same as Al Rayyan, but the latter will qualify since they beat Al Wakrah 3-2 in the fourth round. (QNA)
