Al Gharafa to Face Al Shamal for Arab Handball Super Cup Late this Year

Doha, April 08 (QNA) - The Arab Handball Federation announced the organization of the Arab Handball Super Cup, which brings together Qatar's Al Gharafa and Al Shamal on the sidelines of the next edition of the Arab League Champions League clubs scheduled for late this year. Al Gharafa will take part in the match as the winner of the 35th Arab Championship for handball league champion clubs that was held in the Jordanian capital Amman last year, while Al Shamal was crowned the champion of the 15th Arab Championship for handball cup championships that took place in the city of Beni Khiar in the Tunisian state of Nabeul last March. Al Gharafa played the Arab Handball Super Cup match in its second edition, which was held in the Jordanian capital, Amman, last year, and lost to Tunisia's Esperance Sportive, with a score of 24-26.
