Al-Jaish beats Hilal al-Quds 1-0, Al-Wathba ties with its al-Kuwait 0-0 in AFC

Amman, Abu Dhabi, SANA-Syrian al-Jaish football team beat Palestinian Hilal al-Quds counterpart 1-0 within the second round of groups’ turn of AFC held in Amman on Monday. Mohammad al-Waked scored for al-Jaish in the 37th minute of the match to raise the team’s points to 4. Meanwhile, Syrian al-Wathba football team tied with its Kuwaiti al-Kuwait counterpart in a match held in UAE within group B of Asian Football Confederation. With this result, Al-Wathba team gained two points in group B and came second after al- Kuwait which ranked first raising its points to 4. Earlier, Al-Wathba football team had tied with the Jordanian al-Faisaly 0/0 within Group A .
