Al Shamal Beats Al Ahli in Arab Handball Championship in Tunisia

Tunis, March 05 (QNA) - Al Shamal defeated Al Ahli 32-28 in the Qatari confrontation that brought together the two clubs today at the 15th Arab Handball Championship held in Tunisia and which will continue until March 14 with the participation of six clubs, including three Qataris, namely Al Arabi, Al Ahli and Al Shamal, in addition to ES Beni Khiar and Club Africain of Tunisia and Al Khaleej of Saudi Arabia. Al Shamal was better in the first half, which ended 15-19, while Al Ahli's performance improved in the second half, but without being able to adjust the result. Al Shamal goalkeeper won the award for best player in the match. With this victory, Al Shamal raised its score to 4 points, after a 30/21 victory over Al Khaleej of Saudi Arabia in their first match, while Al Ahli remained without any points after the club lost its first match against Qatar's Al Arabi 29/32.
