Asian Beach Games: Qatar Handball Team Defeat Sri Lanka, Hong Kong

Haiyang, China, June 18 (QNA) - The Qatari beach handball team registered two consecutive victories over Sri Lanka and Hong Kong in the 3rd Asian Beach Games being held in Haiyang City, China. In the first match, Qatar downed Sri Lanka 2-0 (30-11 21-8) and outclassed Hong Kong 2-0 (22-7 14-7) in the second playoff. On the other hand, Qatar beach basketball team overwhelmed Thailand and Bhutan on Sunday. The Qatari squad included Ahmad Al-Dosari, Mohammad Hassan Abdulmoati, Abdulrahman Yahya and Abdullah Shaher. Addition, the Qatari beach football team suffered a 0-3 defeat against Japan. (QNA)
