Azerbaijani female volleyball players make successful start to European Championships

Baku, August 24, AZERTAC The Azerbaijani women's national volleyball team have defeated Croatia 3-2 (25:13, 20:25, 22:25, 26:24, 17:15) in their opening game of the 2019 CEV Volleyball European Championship in Budapest, Hungary. Azerbaijan will next face the Netherlands on August 25, Hungary on August 26 and Estonia on August 28. The national team will take on Romania in its final match in the group C. In addition to Hungary, the hosts of the European Championships are Turkey (Ankara), Poland (Lodz) and Slovakia (Bratislava).
