Bahrain bags five medals in Arab Tae Kwando championship

Manama, Jan.30 (BNA): Bahrain won 1 gold medal, 1 silver and three bronze in the Arab Open Tae Kwando Championship, which concluded in the emirate of Fujairah, in the United Arab Emirates. Bahrain Martial Arts Council President HH Shaikh Salman bin Mohammed Al-Khalifa congratulated His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier. He also extended congratulations to His Majesty the King’s Representative for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, National Security Advisor and Supreme Council for Youth and Sports Affairs (SCYS) Chairman His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al-Khalifa and HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports and President of Bahrain Olympic Committee. Sarra Al-Jallab and Zelphia Razyapova( Al-Duwi International Centre for Sports and Martial Arts ) offered Bahrain a gold medal and a silver one respectively. Reem Mosleh ( Al-Duwi International Centre for Sports and Martial Arts ), Nasser Al-Alawan and Ibrahim Jameel (Bahrain Tae Kwando School) won three bronze medals, bringing Bahrain’s overall medal to five medals.
