Bahrain to play Saudi tomorrow in Khaleeji 24 Final

Manama, Dec. 7 (BNA): Bahrain will take on Saudi Arabia tomorrow, Sunday, in the final of the 24th Gulf Cup (Khaleeji 24). The much-awaited cup final will kick-off at 07:00 pm, in a match which promises to be full of adrenaline, as Bahrain looks to lifting its first trophy. Meanwhile, the Saudi team aspires to claim its fourth title. The first ever match between the two teams ended in a goalless draw, during the first edition of the Gulf Football Cup, which was held in Bahrain 49 years ago – that is in 1970. The two teams have since clashed 19 times in the history of the Gulf Cup – 9 wins for Saudi and 4 victories for Bahrain, while 6 matches ended in a draw. Will Bahrain make history lift its first trophy to enter the GCC annals as the two teams clash in their 20th match.
