Gulf Cup: Saudi Arabia's Coach Says His Team is Ready for Semi-Final Clash

Doha, December 04 (QNA) - Saudi Arabia national team's coach Herve Renard stressed Wednesday that tomorrow's match against Qatar will be an extremely difficult one given the desire of both sides to win the title. Renard said in a press conference ahead of the match that the team was delighted to reach the semi-final and acknowledged that facing the Champion of Asia will be the difficult one. He did maintain however that there was no pressure on the players. He acknowledged that the Qatari team could be considered favorites given their continental achievements earlier in the year. Renard marked the Qatari teams' offensive style that is dangerous as they can reach the opponent's goal in different ways rather than having a one-dimensional attacking style. He was also full of praise for his counterpart Felix Sanchez, saying he was the epitome of hard work. The French coach was full of praise for the stadiums and the fans, saying they added a lot to this year's edition of the competition. (QNA)
