HH the Amir Chairs First SC Meeting

Doha, April 14 (QNA) - HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani Chaired the first meeting of the Board of Directors of the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy (SC) of 2019, held at the Amiri Diwan Sunday morning. The meeting was attended by HH the Deputy Amir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al-Thani, and HH the Personal Representative of HH the Amir Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al-Thani, Vice-Chairman of the Board. HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al-Thani, who is also a member of the Board, and the other members of the Board attended the meeting. During the meeting, the latest developments in Qatar 2022 football World Cup projects were reviewed, including infrastructure, stadiums and accommodation, in addition to the security plans and preparations for the tournament.
