Iran, Armenia football federations ink MoU

Moscow, Dec 10, IRNA – heads of Iranian and Armenian football federations signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) in Yerevan on Saturday for cooperation in sports. Mehdi Taj and his Armenian counterpart Ruben Hayrapetyan in the meeting discussed collaboration in technical domain and education of football. Iran's Ambassador in Yerevan, Seyyed Kazem Sajjadi, was also present in the meeting. Underlining the two countries' good neighborliness and enhanced relations, the two officials voiced interest in cooperation in the fields of football, futsal and beach football, using the two countries' capacities. Iranian delegation accompanying head of football federation visited different sections of the Armenian Academy of Football. The Republic of Armenia is a sovereign state in the South Caucasus region of Eurasia. It gained independence after collapse of former Soviet Union in 1991. 1378/IRNA
