Iran Wins Gold In Weightlifting Paralympics

London, Sept 5, IRNA – Majid Farzin of Iran won gold medal of -82.5 kg weightlifting event in the Paralympics, thus raising Iran’s standing to 9 in the list of medal winners. Iran has thus far gained six gold, three silver and one bronze medals. IRNA reporter in London said that China, the UK and Russia stand first through third respectively in the list./end
