Malaysian Women's Squad To Warm Up For 2017 AFF Tournament In Singapore

KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 4 (Bernama) -- National women's football team head coach Mohd Asyraaf Abdullah has called up 22 players for training ahead of the 2017 Regional Women's Football Development Championship in Singapore from Feb 16 to 20. The championship that features Singapore, Malaysia and the Philippines would serve as a perfect tune up for the Asean Football Federation (AFF 2017) Women's Championship hosted by Thailand from March 1 to 10. According to Mohd Asyraff, all 22 players must attend a centralised training camp that starts on Monday at the Universiti Malaysia Sabah in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. The list released by Mohd Asyraff has only one new face - Nurulhuda Zainol Razak - an 18-year-old defender from Negeri Sembilan. The list of 22 players: Marcella Angela Parais, Yasrilaura Tumas, Fedalliah Claritta Jaimin, Usliza Usman, Haindee Mosroh, Asma Junaidi, Shereilynn Elly Pius, Jaciah Jumilis, Dadree Rofinus, Masturah Majid, Elisah Esar (Sabah); Nur Athirah Farhanah Zairi, Nurulhuda Zainol, Malini Nordin (Negeri Sembilan), Puteri Nor Alisa Wilkinson (Pahang), Angela Kais (PDRM), Nur Haniza Saarani (Perak), Dhiya Fatihah Ahmad Razali (Kedah), Nor Atikah Abdul Wahab (ATM), Anis Aisyah Asiati, Nor Athirah Mamat and Nurul Azurin Mazlan (Sekolah Sukan Malaysia Sabah). -- BERNAMA
