More entries join Sports Day

Manama, Feb. 7 (BNA): The 2019 Bahrain Sports Day, to be held on Tuesday, February 12, has received more entries from government and private entities, which reflects their keenness to play a major part in day’s festivities of this national occasion. Head of Information Technology Committee for the Bahrain Sports Day, Wafa Qanati, has affirmed that the Organising Committee is continuing to receive applications from various public and private sectors entities, which promises a very successful and memorable Bahrain Sports Day this year compared to the past two editions. Wafa also stressed the importance of the initiative to participate in this national event and develop a series of sports activities that promote sports awareness among all members of society. She lauded the cooperation of all governmental and private bodies that initiated the registration process, which reflects their keenness on the success of the Sports Day this year. She also affirmed that registration is open to citizens and residents of the Kingdom to engage in the different activities and events that will be held at the sports village or the rest of the governorates around Bahrain.
