Nasser bin Hamad Ramadan Heritage Festival to be held

Manama, Apr. 13 (BNA): Upon directives from the Representative of HM the King for Charity Work and Youth Affairs and Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC)’s Heritage Sports Committee will hold the “Nasser bin Hamad Ramadan Heritage Festival”. The first edition of the “Nasser bin Hamad Ramadan Heritage Festival” features seven heritage and electronic games. Heritage Sports Committee Chairman, Khalifa bin Abdulla Al-Qaud, expressed pride in HH Shaikh Nasser’s directives, praising his confidence in the committee. Al-Qaud said that the organising committee of the festival will be formed next week, and that registration in the seven games will be electronic, in line with HH Shaikh Nasser’s directives to reduce using paper to preserve the environment. He pointed out that the festival reflects HH Shaikh Nasser’s interest in Bahraini youth and keenness to embrace them through competitive and entertaining programmes during the holy month of Ramadan.
